As previously announced, we are now finalising the implementation of the German Port Release Order. Important to note: passify is not introducing a completely new process. We are extending existing workflows to accommodate the German Ports use case. This week, we have released the Germans Port Sync feature in the Trucking Company Portal. Below is a summary of what is new and what requires your attention.
Synchronisation is based on the VAT ID provided during registration. The VAT ID must match the one registered with German Ports. Once approved, passify automatically retrieves the associated German Ports IDs directly from German Ports.
New additions include:
One trucking company may be linked to multiple German Ports IDs. These are transferred to the respective Terminal Operating System. Whenever a driver is accepted or removed, an automatic update request is sent to the terminal system.
